sometimes i stare at the sunray

it hurts my eyes

 

but if i look at its reflection in a glass of water

they are only lines of light

soft and tender

beautiful and golden

 

i wonder if I am too sun rayed

direct and burns fast

while the world appreciates its refection better

 

though sun is the source

and they know too
